JONAH ZORN KOPLIN is a New York based cinematographer. Jonah has worked in every aspect of film production; narrative, documentary and commercial. These projects have taken him to New Zealand, Vietnam, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, China and all over the continental United States.

His last documentary, 'The Heartland', was acquired for exclusive distribution and streaming by The Criterion Channel and hailed for its luminous imagery.

Jonah DP'd the short film 'Proof of Concept', starring Richard Kind, Will Janowitz & Ellie Sachs. The short premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival after receiving a Vimeo Staff Pick and is now currently streaming on The New Yorker.

Jonah also shot the feature film, 'The Threshing', directed by Sean Mannion. The psychological thriller about a young couple uprooting their lives in the city to take up regenerative farming out west premiered at SXSW Sydney in 2025 and was acquired by Yellowveil Pictures for worldwide distribution.
​In addition to Directing and DPing, Jonah is currently working as a Producer on the upcoming feature documentary about the life of Michael 'Eppy' Epstein and the legendary My Fathers Place. The film is set to premiere in 2026.
